Is this you?
Are some or all of these experiences familiar to you?
- You don't know what you're doing with your life, at least not clearly enough to know how to have something better. If you have an idea of better, it feels unrealistic to attain amidst the way things are. So you feel stuck, and even hopeless about a happier future.
- You're honestly pretty brilliant in several areas, yet there are some life tasks that you really struggle with, even though they seem basic. By putting them off, you feel weirdly held back in life.
- You often ruminate on problems, leading you to spiral out in intense feelings, and feel like it's really hard to stop the anxiety/anger/etc.
- You wish you could have more fulfilling relationships, but struggle finding enough (or any) people who want to go as deep or earnest as you.
- You hold a genuine fire in your heart yearning to make the world better through your particular gifts, but you find the way things are to be so disappointing, overwhelming, and stifling, that it's hard to feel passionate, and easy to feel depressed and stuck.
- You've learned different ways to take care of yourself at deeper levels, but after enough overwhelm or stress, you feel like nothing you've learned actually helps.
If you've resonated with one or more of these scenarios, then let me tell you that these are the kinds of people that can really benefit from the approach I take:
- Deeply intelligent, creative, and heartful men, women, and trans/nonbinary folks in their 20s and 30s.
- Emotionally sensitive people who may or may not already realize how tender their core is when exposed.
- People who can go incredibly deep on their passions, but also things that they wish they did less of.
- People who grew up in abusive/neglectful households, people who have emotionally immature parents, and people with okay-enough childhoods/family but some things were missing.
- People who were raised with a controlling religion, and may or may not be connected to some form spirituality in their life now.
- People who've been interested in meditation, but have been challenged by it or even had pretty bad experiences that have kept them from it and philosophies related to it.
- People who struggle with "woo", and need to understand how something works to really trust it.
In terms of work and financial situations, this approach is also broadly supportive for: folks who are providing for themselves, or being supported; working a job, or unemployed; in a clear career path, or totally lost; and all that lies between.
Finally, if you hold these values, we'd be an especially great fit:
- You love a good concept, and feel at ease in yourself when you can nerd out over deep theories about reality and the processes within it.
- You have a sense that intuition is powerful, perhaps even more powerful than rationality and logic; you might like to explain how using rationality and logic 🙂.
- You want more spirituality in your life, but you don't want dogma or bullshit to go with it.
- You appreciate powerful aesthetic experiences. It means a lot for you to have moments of awe with art, science, life.
